The
Kenneth Copeland Ministries is up for the next greatest challenge yet: HD Television. The ministry sees that everybody tends to turn upon their own televisions for news and entertainment. In fact, many inventions and innovations in the technology in the current time are happening in our own homes-that is, from and for the tv. Heat sensors and touch screens, high definition sound and technology, blue ray, games and highly developed platforms, and so forth. All of these are centered on making our watching moments easier, superior and more comfy. So why can't we develop the circulation of the Words of God with this technology as well?
Busy workers record their favorite television shows so they can watch it on their own convenient time. Busy parents sometimes abandon their children in front of the tv while they ready the food. Indolent persons spending more or less 8 to 10 hours in front of the television idling their worthy moments away. Some out of work persons do not even jilt their tv’s except for taking a leak or getting the door for the food delivery. What seems to go off? Everyone seems to be so pre-occupied with less important things displayed on the television screen, rather than choosing to sit on the table and eat dinner with the family.
Therefore, to counteract the dwindling human warmth, Kenneth Copeland Ministries would want to soften the coldness from every person by countering the problem with the answer: the Word of God. You cannot convince people to ditch their tv and walk outside to look at the view and breathe in the crisp air. It takes more than strong will and solemn prayer. The human mind is bound to free will, and what he or she likes are options. Thus, the ministry would want to present watching praises to God as a preference they could every time pick, amongst sports channels and television dramas.
According to the latest survey, watching tv is on the top ten list of how people tend to use their time. Long time in the past, our ancestors used up most of their lives in the in the open air, either by farming, producing crafts and arts, and going to celebrations. The olden days seemed to be busy enough, but still they had time to inscribe philosophies, observe the stars and gather together to thank God for the blessings. Life as well at the present time is always on the go. But we are more involved in our own selves that we tend to be more individualistic instead of social. We tend to appease first our own needs rather than giving to others.
Of course, most experts and scientists fault it to the tv. Becoming couch potatoes starting from the basic years could do that to our minds and hearts. Therefore if we could have anything more useful and spiritual to view on our television, who knows, maybe we could begin a new life again. This time we can be more benevolent, more loving and more virtuous. Kenneth Copeland Ministries as a matter of fact have been trying to do just that.
